For the person who loves a moment, a beautiful table, and bringing people together—
but maybe doesn’t want an entire closet dedicated to candlesticks and vintage glassware.
I met Mandy about nine years ago at a “Boss Babe” event when I was brand new to real estate. She’s one of those people you immediately want to know. Partly because she has the coolest personal style, but mostly because she’s always felt genuinely plugged into Tacoma—showing up, supporting creative people and small businesses, and making our community feel a little more fun.
I’ve followed along with her ever since, so when I saw what she was creating with All Set, I immediately thought: of course she is.
All Set is essentially a beautifully curated dinner party in a box—but that description barely scratches the surface.
A Better Way to Set the Table
Mandy describes All Set as an extension of her own “obsession with hosting” and desire to make creating a memorable gathering feel both effortless and sustainable.
Each Set is built from pieces she has collected from thrift stores, estate sales, small businesses, artists and makers. Instead of buying 12 glasses, linens, candlesticks and plates for one dinner—and then figuring out where on earth to store all of it—you get to borrow an entirely different aesthetic for the night.
And this isn't just dropping off a box of dishes.
You tell Mandy your occasion, guest count and general vibe. She curates the Set, sends inspiration for how she would style it, and you can take it from there—or have her do even more. A Signature Collected Tablescape includes linens, dinnerware, flatware, candles, two styles of glassware, water pitchers and tabletop details.
How Much Does All Set Cost?
The Signature Tablescape starts around $200–$275 for four to six guests, with a special date-night option around $100. Local delivery and pickup can be added, as can a full white-glove setup. From there, you can make it as elaborate as you'd like.
And this is where Mandy really shines.
Florals? Yes.
A floor-seated picnic on a giant vintage rug? Absolutely.
Menu coordination? Yep.
Custom signage and place cards? Of course.
A playlist so you don't have to be host and DJ? She's thought of that too.
There are even vintage ashtrays and post-dinner amaro if that's your kind of party.
The Point Isn't Perfection
One of my favorite stories Mandy shared was about a picnic she put together with friends. She hauled everything she'd collected across the street in a wagon and was disappointed she hadn't perfectly styled the table before everyone arrived. Then she realized—that was kind of the point.
Everyone helped set it up. There was no wrong way to do it. They lit candles, poured wine and ate grocery-store deli sandwiches at a ridiculously pretty table. Throughout the night, strangers stopped to ask what they were celebrating--Literally nothing! As Mandy put it: “Why not? You should try it, too!” And I think that sums up All Set better than anything else could.
What Are We All Overthinking?
According to Mandy? The food. A beautiful dinner doesn't require spending the entire day cooking. Grocery-store sandwiches can feel special on a vintage cake stand. Store-bought can absolutely be the move. The point is to create an environment where people want to sit down, stay a while, and actually enjoy each other. All Set takes care of the part Mandy loves so you can put your energy into the part of hosting you love.
What's Next for All Set
Mandy is already dreaming about ways to bring even more local artists and makers into future Sets. One collaboration started with a “coastal Italian” concept and resulted in a local ceramic artist creating a wavy Ikebana vase adorned with charms made from an old necklace.
Which feels very All Set: collected, unexpected, local and just a little weird—in the best possible way.
And if anyone wants to commission Mandy's dream dinner party, apparently we're looking at beetles and moths, iridescent details, Basque nachos, an enormous butter board, a tasteful wine list, French disco and a post-dinner dance party. Someone, please book it. I want an invite!!!
